Greetings
From The Abegg Family!
This year has been a great year full of happy times
with our friends and family. We continue to live in Huntington Beach, approximately
a mile from the beach. Our beach town has gone through a lot of changes the last
few years with many new luxury high rise hotels, condos and custom homes. We still
enjoy going downtown to the beach and the pier to visit all the new shops and
restaurants as often as we can. We also spend at least a week out of each month
to visit our cabin in Big Bear. Its still a very relaxing and enjoyable place
to spend time. After a very dry year, there has recently been lots of snow and
it feels and looks like a real winter wonderland!
Arnie continues to enjoy
his retirement from the Huntington Beach Fire Department. His fascination with
computers and Photoshop projects keep him busy! We own five of them and we use
them all! He has other numerous hobbies that keep him busy and fills our garage
with fun toys and tools!
Doreen is still painting and very active in
the art world. She is a founding member of a new gallery in Big Bear Village and
enjoys painting the scenery in the mountain area. Her favorite subject still remains
the California coastline and historic California missions. She participates in
several outdoor art festivals throughout the year.
Our son Eric and his
wife Pam live in Huntington Beach also. We have two grandchildren....Kyle age
six and Megan age two. Both are very active and bright children who love to visit
with us as often as they can. Kyle is active in sports and also enjoys surfing
with his dad. Megan loves her dolls and enjoys singing and making beautiful crayon
paintings. We feel very blessed to have such a beautiful and loving family!
We hope this past year has been a good one for you as well. Have a very Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year !

Come back and visit us again.....like all families, we are a "work in progress"!
We love to hear from our family and friends!
